In Coordination with Nobody is above the Law
Donald Trump is publicly considering firing special counsel Robert Mueller, the person leading the Department of Justice investigation of possible illegal actions by Donald Trump and members of his presidential campaign, and the efforts to conceal those activities.
This would be a constitutional crisis for our country. It would demand an immediate and unequivocal response to show that we will not tolerate abuse of power from Donald Trump.
Our response in the minutes and hours following a power grab will dictate what happens next and whether Congress—the only body with the constitutional power and obligation to rein Trump in from his rampage—will do anything to stand up to him.
That's why we're preparing to hold emergency "Nobody is Above the Law" rallies around the country in the event they are needed.
NOTE BIG CHANGE!!!!
Time to swarm WUFA if Trump fires Mueller!
We will carpool together to the State Capitol to join other group rallies! If the announcement is by 2:00, we will swarm to the First Christian parking lot at 2:30 that day and carpool to the Capitol no later than 3:00 to join the 5:00 Rally. If an announcement is made AFTER 2:00 p.m., we will swarm the following morning to the Christian Church Parking Lot at 9:30 and leave no later than 10:00 am for the Noon Rally.
This is our moment to stand up to protect our democracy. Let's mobilize to show that we won't let Donald Trump become the authoritarian that he aspires to be. The law applies to all of us, and it's essential that it also applies to the most powerful people in our country.
Join Wufa at noon on Saturday, March 24, we will be marching from the County Election Board to the Oklahoma Capitol Building in unity with the victims of the Marjory Douglas Stoneman High School victims.
We are no longer waiting for change- we are making it happen. We are demanding that our lawmakers pass legislation that will keep our schools safe. Our march is organized by and led by students from across the state and their allies, and we are supported by Oklahoma Women’s March, March on Oklahoma, and several other groups.
Women United For Action and Spectrum SWOK are Co-hosting an LGTBQ summit with Cameron University's Student Housing. This summit is sponsored by Festival X.
